Our past experiences may have made us the way we are, but we don’t have to stay that way.

When you are tempted to give up, your breakthrough is probably just around the corner.

Seek His face and not His hand

You can suffer the pain of change or suffer remaining the way you are.

There are no drive-thru breakthroughs. Breakthroughs take time.

Put your expectations on God, not on people.

You can not live your life just based on what everyone else thinks.

Stop being tormented by everyone else’s reaction to you.

Addictions – Run to Jesus instead of running to your addiction.

Romans 6 – Our flesh is the instrument that Satan works through. When we say no to the flesh, we say no to the devil.

Giving in to fear alters God’s best plan for your life. So use the power of God’s Word to do what He wants you to do…even if you have to do it afraid! The rewards are great.

Complain and remain. Praise and be raised.

Don’t run to the phone, run to the throne.

God doesn’t tell you to do hard things so He can stand back and laugh and watch you struggle. He tells you to do things the things that He knows are gonna work out to your good in the end.

It is not about reading the Word. It is about obeying the Word.

I may not be where I need to be but I thank God I am not where I used to be.

If you want to be free, just start doing what God wants you to do, one step at a time, and you’ll eventually walk out of your messes.

Is there any real purpose in being alive if all we are going to do is get up every day and live only for ourselves? Live your life to help others. Give & live selflessly.

My purpose in life is to do right and to glorify God.

When you forgive, you must cancel the debt. Do not spend your life paying and collecting debts.

Your fellowship with God flows freely when you’re willing to forgive, but it gets blocked by unforgiveness.

Forgive the person who badly hurt you long ago and also the stranger who stepped on your toe in the grocery store.

Many people ruin their health and their lives by taking the poison of bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness. Matthew 18:23-35 tells us that if we do not forgive people, we get turned over to the torturers.

We don’t want to survive. We want to be healed.

Learning to change our thinking works the same way. There will be days when we don’t do everything right–days when our thinking is negative. But never stop trying. God is gradually bringing us around to His way of thinking. Just don’t give up!

Every day can be exciting if we see ourselves as God’s secret agents, waiting to sprinkle a little salt on all the lives we encounter.
